Hey epyic crew,
With the free public transport across Victoria this April, our top picks this week include four adventures easily reached by train or tram. No car needed, a reprieve from the fuel shock and parking stress. Just get on and go.
The other two are worth the drive. A sound ceremony on the Mornington Peninsula as the sun sets over the bay, and a trail race through the forest above Healesville, which also kicks off Trails Plus’s 2026 Mountain Trail race series.
We’ve made changes to the newsletter over the past few months - let us know what you think’s a yay or a nay. We’d love to hear from you.
See you out there,
Stella & Chris

Alpine Nature Experience
Jean-Francois grew up in the French Alps and now brings that world to Hotham. A snowshoe through snow gums at sunset, mulled wine by the fire, a three-course fondue dinner in a heated tipi, then a night in a private Hypedome watching the stars over the Dargo Valley. Before winter arrives, a few spots remain on their iconic Falls to Hotham crossing - a fully catered, guided hike through the Alpine National Park with tree top tent camping en route. Winter season kicks off 6 June.
State of Nirvana
State of Nirvana's wood-fired mobile sauna sits right on Mills Beach, Mornington. Heat, ocean air and the crackle of a wood fire with the bay at your feet. One of our own epyic community members, Avi, recently ran 11km in cold, stormy conditions then followed with a recovery sauna session and a dip in the sea. Now, that’s our kind of morning.
