Hey epyic crew,
It’s the winter solstice this weekend - the shortest day of the year.
So we’ve packed it full.
This weekend we've got a hike through the Yarra Trails right on Melbourne's doorstep, beach tennis at St Kilda paired with sunset socials, a pastry and coffee trail through the city's best laneways, a serious leg-burner up the 1000 Steps, a party dive on Lonsdale Wall, and a full day on the Mornington Peninsula with the humpbacks and soaking in hot springs.
See you out there,
Stella & Chris
p.s. Goooo Socceroos! 💚💛

Snorkel & Dive Safari
Karl and Sally fell in love with the water and all things scuba diving as teenagers and remain hooked. With the pull of the bay and the warm local community in Altona, they opened Snorkel and Dive Safari round the corner from Altona beach. Nearly a decade on, the shop is as much a community as it is a business. Their team holds RAID and TDI instructor qualifications across the full range and nothing gives them more joy than seeing beginners experience their first underwater magic. They also have regular snorkels, shore and boat dives, and dive trips.
One Life Community
Nihanth and Sreekar know firsthand how hard it can be to find your people in a new city. One Life Community grew from that: a place where strangers turn into friends through adventures, memories and fun. Built for people who say yes to life. Come solo, leave with friends.

⛰️ Ferntree Gully Quarry & 1000 Steps | 7 Days of Fun
The Dandenongs on a winter morning, with burning calves and a well-earned coffee waiting at the top. This one combines two local favourites in a single hike with a great crew, starting at Ferntree Gully Quarry Reserve before tackling the iconic Kokoda Track Memorial Walk and its famous staircase through the forest.
Nothing like climbing 1,000 steps together to fast-track a friendship.

🦞 Party Point Scuba Dive | Bay City Charters
I’ll be honest, I picked this one solely because of the name, ‘Party Point’. What else do we need to know? Okay, fine - it’s part of the Lonsdale Wall and has overhangs which support a huge variety of fish including the Southern Blue Devil (pictured above), crayfish, soft corals, sponges and more.
It’s a dive site that lives up to its name.

🐳 Hot Springs, Hikes & Humpbacks | Wild Adventures Melbourne
Humpback and southern right whales are moving through the waters off the Mornington Peninsula right now on their annual migration. This adventure puts you on the water with them. A four-hour cruise along the coastline, a coastal hike along the balcony of the southern ocean, a grazing picnic lunch from a local farmgate, and an afternoon soaking in hot springs.
Now that’s how you spend a solstice weekend.
📅 Sat 20 Jun, 7am to 6pm 📍 Melbourne CBD & Mornington Peninsula pickups
