Hey epyic crew
How good has this weather been! Those of you who have been part of our community for a while know we’re pretty keen on winter - the crisp air, the lush trails, and panoramic views you only get when it’s cold.
That said, how amazing have the past few days of the spring preview been. Sunshine and warmer days. Everything feels lighter. Our summer adventure organisers are kicking off the 26/27 season and we’re so excited about what’s on the calendar.
Starting this weekend. We’ll be heading to two of the events below and we’d love to see you there (come say hey)!
See you out there

ADVENTURES THIS WEEK 🔥
🥾 Cape Schanck, Bushrangers Bay & Pulpit Rock | Wander with Luisa
Luisa has run plenty of hikes but this one’s special: the first as a newly minted Parks Vic tour operator under her own banner, Wander with Luisa. We’re off to celebrate with a hike on the Peninsula’s most dramatic coastline. She’ll be taking the group through coastal bushland towards Bushrangers Bay, where the sand sits between dark basalt cliffs, then out to Pulpit Rock, carved by volcanic activity and millions of years of Bass Strait swell.
It's a social walk at a comfortable pace, and plenty come solo. If you’ve been meaning to get out there, this is the perfect time to dust off those hiking shoes and come join us on Saturday.
Want more? Luisa's also running a Werribee Gorge Circuit hike on Sunday, cables and all. A classic Melbourne hike for good reason.

🍸 Richmond After Dark Stroll | 7 Days of Fun
Us Melburnians love our hidden spots. On this after dark social walk, Maria is taking you to a cocktail bar hidden behind what looks like an ordinary vending machine. You know it’s going to be a fun night.
Can't make Friday? Or better still, want a double weekend date? On Saturday, Dan and Maria are taking a riverside stroll before a night of hearty German food, yodelling and gemütlichkeit (Oktoberfest preview anyone?), finishing at karaoke.

🌿 No. 16 Beach Cultural Guided Walk | Living Culture
Some knowledge you can't google. Hudson (pictured left) is a Torres Strait Islander and Frankston/Mornington Peninsula NAIDOC Youth Award winner. He’ll be leading this cultural walk through the dunes at Rye to windswept clifftops, sharing knowledge of bush tucker, traditional medicines, and Indigenous culture in this ancient landscape. Peregrine falcons nest in these cliffs and bush wallabies live in the parkland underfoot.
You’ll experience one of the Peninsula's most precious hidden gems with a whole new lens. Short on distance, long on everything else. Come join us!

Tour de Vines
We’ve been looking for cycling tours to share with you and we’re excited to say the wait is over.
Like many of our adventure legends, Damian didn't set out to build an adventure business. In the early 2000s, he started running weekend rides on the Murray to Mountains Rail Trail for fun. Just friends, bikes and North East Victoria's wine country. Those friends told their friends, the calls kept coming, and by 2012 it was a full time operation. Today, Tour de Vines hosts over 2,000 riders a year across Australia, New Zealand, Asia and Europe, with 12 straight years of TripAdvisor excellence to show for it.
The focus hasn’t changed from when Damian started: great riding, stunning landscapes, and food and wine that’s just as much the main event.
Kaykaze Adventure Experience
Kaykaze has been getting Victorians out of their comfort zones since 1988.
Kayaking, rafting, caving, climbing and abseiling, all close to Melbourne, and with passionate guides who love being out there. Thirty-eight years of guiding people down rivers, up rocks and underground means they've seen every kind of first-timer nerves, and know exactly how to turn them into the good kind.
You can go white water kayaking on Birrarung (Yarra River) and explore a maze of granite boulder caves right here in Melbourne. Time for a different way to experience the city?
MORE ADVENTURES THIS WEEK 🔥
🌃 Yarra Mist Night Paddle | SUP Melbourne
The Now or Never festival kicks off tomorrow, “where ground-breaking creativity meets untethered exploration”, inviting people to experience our city in a different way. And to honour that, SUP Melbourne is taking the crew down Birrarung (Yarra River) for a paddle to see ‘The Falls Before Us’ installation by Emily Parsons-Lord. Where the Evan Walker Bridge vanishes.
Boards lit, city glowing, mist rolling in.

🤿 Boarfish Reef Dive + Free Seal Snorkel | Scubabo Dive
Boarfish Reef is where our bay shows off: caves, drop-offs and overhangs from 10 to 22 metres, all of it bursting with colour and marine life. Blue Devils, crayfish, the resident boarfish, a 4m admiralty anchor crusted in marine growth, and a sponge garden running 400 metres off the northern tip.
To kick off the season, the crew is including a complimentary seal snorkel after the dive. Two adventures, one morning, and the best kind of Saturday.
